An alright tale, the story begins with the portrait of Chandramukhi (anushka) which situationally comes into the house of a family (sarath Babu, prabha, richa, kamalini, shraddha etc). However, strange things begin to happen since then and the family head decides to meet Rajeshwara Siddanthi (avinash). He comes to the home and discovers the portrait of Chandramukhi and predicts that there is a major problem in the home. He calls upon Dr Vijay (venkatesh) who is an expert to resolve the problem. Dr Vijay starts his analysis and differs with the supernatural theory of Siddanthi. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="blacktext12">Presentation:
The director has come up with a rather entertaining storyline and he has packed it well with good presentation but the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were routine and the script had few hiccups at places. The screenplay was better but not crisp. Background score was excellent and songs are interesting. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was abrupt in few places but it was required at many places to alter the lengthl. Costumes were apt, stylish and the art department was rich. Special mention goes to the sound department for its effects. Venkatesh has come up with a good performance and he makes his presence felt, Anushka looks good and did her bit as required, Kamalini was a revelation she showed her talent but then she must put on some weight, that charm is missing, Richa looks cute and she impressed with her performance as well. Shraddha Das was alright, Poonam Kaur was brief. Avinash was apt, Brahmi gave few smiles, Dharmavarapu was okay. The others didn’t have much to offer.
</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="blacktext12">Conclusion:
The film happens to be the sequel to the super hit movie ‘Chandramukhi’. While the first half was breezy and quick, it is the second half which loses momentum and few scenes get dragged. Technically, the film has been made very well with rich visual effects and sounds but content wise, the film didn’t have the stuff or content to engage the audience or keep them hooked to the film. At the box office, the family audience will like the film and masses will take it to an extent given the presence of Venky. This will be an average grosser.
DownloadsMasti verdict : Dragged but okay..
