Story:
A commercial treat, the story begins with ACP Karan (sonu) who vows to put an end to all the gangsters in Mumbai. This is not liked by don Kabir (prakash raj) and he decides to kill Karan. For this, he gets in a sharpshooter. In this juncture comes Vijju (amitabh), a former gangster, from Paris and he wants to join the mafia gang. In no time, he manages to impress even Kabir and he is given the task of killing Karan. Meanwhile, Karan is in love with Tanya (sonal chauhan) while her friend Amrutha (charmee) becomes good friends with Vijju. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a regular storyline and while the presentation was classy, the narrative was different. The dialogues were excellent, the script was good but had few visible flaws while the screenplay was gripping. Background score was good in parts and songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was disappointing. Editing was sharp but few scenes got jumped. Costumes were colourful while the art department was apt. Amitabh Bachchan rules the roost in this movie and his presence dominates the entire flick. Sonu Sood was effective and made his presence felt. Prakash Raj was perfect. Sonal Chauhan was pretty and gave good glamour quotient, the real showstealer was Charmee with her coy acts. Hema Malini was graceful, Subbaraju was good. The others did their bit as required and added value to the film.

Conclusion:
The film marks the debut of Puri Jagannadh in Bollywood and it must be said that he lived upto the expectations. While the first half was filled with elements of comedy, romance and some fun, the second half gets dramatic and melodramatic but with a good energy level. Overall, the film has been made with good production values and a bit of jerky technical values. At the box office, this will appeal to Bachchan fans and commercial audience. To those who want to see a different Big B this is the movie and success at box office looks very strong.

DownloadsMasti Verdict: Different and stylish, watch it
